Job Description

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Job Responsibility

Responsible for the development, test, and deployment of production-ready software features and enhancements of mission applications deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • OR Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
  • Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
  • Software development experience with multiple programming languages such as C/C++, and Java
  • Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
  • Experience with Git Source Control System

Nice to have

  • Software development experience with Web Frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • AWS Cloud experience
