Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer who will work on initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. The candidate is expected to have experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Cloud Technologies, and behavioral-driven development (BDD).

Job Responsibility:

Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Handling all production support escalations and EACO calls during India day hours

Requirements:

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Core skills – Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch), Spring Boot, Web Services (REST, SOAP etc.), Kafka (streaming technologies), integration technologies, Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF), Microservices & knowledge on MongoDB database
Minimum 2 years of React Experience
Strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Design Patterns
Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)
Hands on Experience in using BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, karate etc.)
Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably in design/development of customer facing large enterprise applications)
Experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applications
API - driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON
Knowledge of Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
Hands on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool
Unit Testing (JUnit preferred)/ TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (GitHub Actions, Harness)
Knowledge with GenAI tools
Good business communication skills in English
