TEAM DESCRIPTION Trust & Security Services (TSS) org, provides integrated, intelligent, and secure services to all of Microsoft’s engineering teams to ingest, protect, and distribute Microsoft products at scale. TSS is chartered with the following responsibilities: Provide a comprehensive suite of ingestion, storage and distribution services. We provide orchestration for CodeSign and Malware Scan, Intelligent process for Storage and securely distribute bits to the entire world. We maintain the highest standards of both logical and physical security to ensure that Microsoft’s brand remains trusted and secure. We work on massive-scale cloud services that securely distribute software content to billions of Windows and Linux devices. Our technology empowers customers around the world to keep their devices up to date and secure. Our services are actively utilized for Windows, Windows Server, Office, SQL Server, and many other products. We provide E2E services to Release & Deliver Microsoft products efficiently and securely, leveraging the power of Asymmetric Encryption to TLU (Time Limited URL) links, CDNs to distribute at scale, and thereby reducing latency and enhancing download experience. We provide services for all Microsoft Teams to Release Microsoft Packages to the popular Package Management stores like NPM, Pypi, Rust etc. We provide MS product parts, keys, files, BOM (Bill of Material) data & instructions to our manufacturing partners for building, packaging & distributing Microsoft FPP (Full Packaged Product) & OEM products securely worldwide. Our unique engineering challenges are scale – we deliver ~4B CDN download requests, serving ~2.5 Petabytes data from CDN and ~130M origin hits on daily basis. We do have a company-wide impact.
