Job Description:

Join NTT DATA as a Software Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud to deliver impactful solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor team members, and ensure quality project delivery in a dynamic environment. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce solutions, particularly in the Consumer Goods sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create, own, and maintain technical documentation related to the project
  • Implement a defined approach for frameworks, technologies, and toolsets to be used during the implementation of the solution design
  • Prepare and lead Technical Demonstrations with key stakeholders for small to medium-complexity projects
  • Participate in NTT DATA added value activities outside regular client work
  • Complete mandatory training and maintain certification level
  • Identify and raise potential risks to a project and suggest, where possible, mitigation strategies
  • Coach and mentor Functional Consultants through technical doubts to ensure quality completion of their tasks by or before their due dates and maintain the overall integrity of the solution
  • Work with key stakeholders to communicate and manage design changes, backlog management, and sprint planning to ensure all tasks can be completed during a given sprint for small to medium-complexity projects
  • Develop code for high-complexity technical design notes complying with coding standards, perform unit testing, and actively manage assigned tasks to ensure quality completion by or before their due dates
  • Create POCs and perform impact analysis to ensure technical design notes are complete and meet the requirements for the proposed solution
  • Complete effort estimation on user stories for low to medium complexity projects to allow for accurate resourcing to complete build activities
  • Write technical design notes for user stories relating to low to medium-complexity projects
  • Leverage prior experience working within the Consumer Goods domain to design and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to industry-specific processes such as trade promotions, retail execution, route-to-market, and distributor management

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions
  • Strong understanding of Retail Execution processes including visit planning, task execution, asset management, and in‑store activities
  • Expertise in CG Cloud mobile app, including offline capability and field execution workflows
  • Experience implementing Retail Visit Schedulers, Survey Builder, Perfect Store KPIs, and Route Optimization
  • Ability to design and optimize product hierarchies, assortments, promotions, and trade spend workflows
  • Hands-on experience integrating CG Cloud with ERP, DMS, TPM, OMS, and analytics platforms
  • Experience working with FMCG/CPG clients across sales, merchandising, distribution, and retail operations
  • Industry experience in the Consumer Goods sector is highly preferred to enable accurate mapping of business needs to Salesforce capabilities
