Job Description:

Everlaw is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Oakland, CA. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact on our product and grow your skills across a wide range of technologies. Our mission is to promote justice by illuminating truth, and we do this with our ediscovery platform. You'll have the opportunity to explore our entire system with significant autonomy across the stack. We empower engineers to follow their interests and build the right functionality in the right way, without imposing deadlines. We really care about code quality and making it easy to maintain, which is why we don't do sprints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build features from start to finish

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in coding in a dominant language such as C++, Java, Python, or Javascript
  • solid understanding of algorithms and fundamental computer science concepts
  • strong strategic thinking and team collaboration skills
  • experience building small software projects
  • excellent writing and communication skills
  • authorized to work in the United States
