Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The Data Engineering Lakehouse team is hiring software engineers who are passionate about building modern, scalable web experiences and robust data platform architecture for storing, managing, and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data. Our team builds the front-end and platform experiences that power the Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse—enabling customers to ingest, transform, govern, and analyze data at scale. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, data platforms, and user experience, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and partner teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with broader data management and analytics tools.
Job Responsibility:
Design and build reliable, intuitive web experiences that enable users to work effectively with large-scale, complex data.
Write maintainable and extensible code, with attention to performance, accessibility, reliability, and security.
Build and integrate solutions using Azure-based services and platforms that operate reliably at scale.
Collaborate across frontend, backend, and platform boundaries to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Participate in design, specification, and code reviews, contributing to the quality and clarity of team solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience with React, Javascript/TypeScript, Redux, REST APIs and other front-end technologies.
