Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to work on moderately complex initiatives within a dynamic technology environment. In this role, you will be contributing to strategic planning, design, and development of scalable, secure web services and resilient software frameworks. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability digital banking solutions using Java, Spring Stack, Kafka, and microservices architecture.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain
Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements
Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects
Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges
Present recommendations for resolving issues
Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Develop and launch scalable, secure web services using Java, J2EE, JUnit, Spring, and RESTful services
Contribute to the growth of a highly available, fast, and resilient software framework
Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams and architects
Ensure 99.99% uptime of web applications
Deliver secure software solutions following Agile delivery methodologies

Requirements:

2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent
Experience in application development and programming
Experience in web application development and programming
Proficient in Core Java with over 2 years of hands-on experience
More than 2 years of experience working with Oracle and MongoDB databases
Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful and SOAP-based web services for over 2 years
Over 2 years of experience in developing microservices-based architectures
Proven track record of building resilient, highly available, and scalable software solutions for online banking using Java, Spring Stack, Kafka, and microservices architecture
