Job Description:

Senior developer/lead role in the Mobile engineering area of Telstra IT. The role will perform as a Fullstack developer within an agile feature team, contributing to the development and maintenance of mobile applications to further develop Telstra's various customer-facing self-care web apps suite with new capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Design software in accordance with business requirements
Develop software including quality assurance
Maintain and operate the software in production
Provide senior technical support to technical staff and leadership support to management
Lead improvement activities to ensure efficient, agile and effective delivery
Contribute to broader team management activities including Business Cases, Budgeting, Improvement Activities, Planning

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of IT experience with at least 70% hands-on coding and testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related IT field
Experience developing customer-facing web applications
Agile software development experience
Experience in JavaScript, React JS
Experience in Java, Microservices, REST, Spring Boot
Experience in Testing including unit test framework, test automation, Selenium
Knowledge in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and AWS
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline

Nice to have:

Cloud computing experience
Microservices architecture experience
CI/CD experience
DevOps experience
Software testing experience including test automation, service virtualization, device testing, performance testing and security testing
