Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java (11 & 17), Spring Boot, and React
  • Develop intuitive front-end interfaces with React and Node.js, leveraging modern frameworks and tools such as NPM
  • Containerise applications with Docker and deploy them on AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, load balancers)—experience with Azure is also valued
  • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Bamboo for streamlined development, testing, and deployment
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions following microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Ensure application security through best practices in authentication and authorisation (JWT, OAuth, certificate management)
  • Utilise relational and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, and optionally Amazon DocumentDB

Requirements:

  • Around 5 years’ experience in full-stack development, especially with Spring Boot and React
  • Proven coding skills in Java and hands-on experience with front-end development
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), containerisation (Docker), and serverless technologies
  • Comfortable with modern DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, GitLab or Bamboo)
  • Understanding of microservices, authentication/authorisation protocols, and working with various databases
