Job Description:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Job Responsibility:

Work with customer facing teams to understand requirements and translate requirements into software design
Develop complex packet forward features in IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, Cos, DHCP, Services areas
Analyze, debug and fix complex microkernel/Linux issues
Drive innovations by working with cross functional teams to address complex problems
Assist in solving complex customer issues and queries reported from the field
Work on sustaining existing features

Requirements:

B.E or BTech from a reputed institution in CS/EE with 7+ years of experience
Excellent C/C++/Python programming, design, problem solving and debugging skills
Strong Networking background
Experience with Software development on routers, switches
Experience with datapath ASICs like Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot or other NPU
Strong technical role in current position
Exposure to multi-core Software architectures
Understanding of product development cycle, technical requirements
Understanding of computer architecture, data structures and programming practices
Record delivering software projects on-time with high quality
Good oral and written communication skills
Highly self-motivated
Ability to work in a team environment
