Within Azure Data, the business intelligence team builds and maintains Power BI which is the undisputed leader in BI tool in the industry today and serves as the bridge between data professionals & Office users. Power BI’s core value proposition is to enable end users to get answers & insights from their data through data visualization. As a Software Engineer I, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of Power BI Desktop and Service by developing and maintaining automation frameworks, test strategies, and engineering tools. You will work alongside experienced engineers to integrate AI and GenAI technologies into testing and development workflows, helping improve engineering efficiency and compliance. You’ll participate in live site operations, telemetry instrumentation, and secure troubleshooting practices. This role offers opportunities to learn modern testing architectures, collaborate across global teams, and support high-quality weekly releases for Power BI Service and monthly releases for Power BI Desktop.
