Job Description:

Software Engineer role at HSBC providing remote IT support in the End User Computing domain, covering PC, mobile device, communication systems and application software

Job Responsibility:

Provide remote IT support over the phone in End User Computing domain, covering PC, mobile device, communication systems and application software
Identify, diagnose, and resolve computer, application, mobile device, system and network issues
Ensures proper documentation, notification, escalation and tracking and follow up of all incidents
Handle technical enquiries and provide level 1 support within the agreed service levels, covering desktop, mobile device, communication systems, network issues and application software
Assist and train users to improve the user experience with various IT products
Maintain IT Knowledgebase such as user guides, end user portals and forums
Support end user software such as Microsoft/Mac OS, MS Office, Video Conferencing etc

Requirements:

University/College degree in Computing Science or other relevant disciplines
Experiences with end user computing
Experience on troubleshooting issue on Windows OS (Win 10, Win 11), MS Office, Outlook and network
Hands on experience in Microsoft Infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, SharePoint)
Good command of written and spoken English, and fluent in Cantonese
