Job Responsibility:

  • Full Lifecycle Development: Work in an agile team to design, develop, test, and deliver new features and improvements to our products
  • DevOps & Microservices: Be trained on and help manage the operational side of our highly available microservice architecture, including being part of an on-call rotation
  • Adaptable & Problem-Solver: Tackle varied and challenging problems daily, showing flexibility, a data-driven focus on quality, and an ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Ownership & Quality: Take responsibility for tasks, from building new functionality to developing automated tests and investigating issues, all with a level of high attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics)
  • 2+ years of professional programming experience in C++/C#, and the willingness to learn new languages quickly
  • Experience with using Linux and developing software running on Linux
  • An understanding of virtual machines and containerisation technologies, and experience with Docker

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Windows development
  • Experience with data science / AI
  • Knowledge of networks and networking protocols (such as TCP/IP and HTTP)
  • Exposure to cryptography
  • Familiarity with audio and video coding, processing techniques, and technologies (such as Opus or H.264)
  • Familiarity with Git, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery
