Job Description:

As a Software Engineer at IKEA, you will have a voice in strategic decisions about cloud-based solutions, develop high-quality software, and collaborate across teams. You will also apply best practices, contribute to the development of standards, and explore innovation to enhance customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Taking ownership of delivering high-quality software
working in agile teams and across capability areas
applying and promoting modern software engineering principles
providing guidance and support to fellow developers
contributing to the evolution of development standards
collaborating with cross-functional teams to define design specifications.

Requirements:

Proven track record of developing high-quality code
experience in Agile and DevOps environments
academic background in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience
knowledge of microservices technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
experience with GCP
skills in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Java, Node.js, MVC frameworks, and SQL
experience with CDI and CI/CD processes
familiarity with modern software engineering principles such as DRY, TDD/BDD, continuous integration, and automated testing.
