Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain high‑scale services that form the backbone of security monitoring
Implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to detect, intercept, and prevent internal and external threats targeting company email, data, e‑commerce, and web‑based systems
Research and analyze attempted or successful efforts to compromise system security and identify opportunities for improved protections
Collaborate closely with internal and external partners across the Microsoft Security organization to design and build features that protect Microsoft first‑party products and services
Foster a culture of continuous learning, adaptation, reflection, and growth
Mentor peers to uphold engineering best practices and maintain a consistently high bar for code quality
Champion a “can‑do” mindset and positive accountability across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
2+ years of experience programming in C++/C# or Python or Scala or similar technologies
