Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Barclays as an experienced Analyst within the Market Post Trade Technology team in Japan. In this role, you will work closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, as well as global technology partners, to deliver key initiatives spanning regulatory change, control enhancements, and operational support. You will contribute to the standardisation of Global Markets post trade processes and play a critical role in strengthening our control environment and advancing our technology strategy. This position offers a strong platform to deepen your expertise across a wide range of financial products, front to back trade flows, and Japan specific market infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in post trade functions within banking
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Prime, FIF)
  • Knowledge of core post trade processes (settlements, reporting, confirmations, asset servicing, trade validation)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Solid understanding of Japan’s local market, regulatory landscape, and domestic settlement and reporting frameworks
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Strong communication, documentation, influencing, and cross-team leadership skills
  • Ability to apply core technical capabilities across trading systems, platforms, and infrastructure
  • Legal Right to Work in Japan
