Job Description:

Journeys is one of Hightouch’s fastest growing product areas, focused on building the orchestration layer that powers modern marketing automation. Journeys enables customers to design and execute personalized, multi-step workflows that react to real time events, customer data, and AI-generated content, all directly from the warehouse.

Job Responsibility:

building the orchestration layer that powers modern marketing automation
designing and executing personalized, multi-step workflows that react to real time events, customer data, and AI-generated content, all directly from the warehouse
representing user defined workflows as scalable, durable systems that handle millions of messages, retries, and customer automations every day
working on problems including: Data Warehouse Performance, Analytics and Experimentation, Real-time Audience Syncing, Generative AI

Requirements:

product minded backend engineer
experience building and debugging distributed architectures that prioritize reliability, observability, and fault tolerance
deeply curious about how systems interact over time
talented, intellectually curious, and motivated
interested in tackling the problems listed
senior role but focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience
