Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. This position focuses on developing and enhancing a core work-tracking application, primarily through front-end engineering tasks. As a long-term contract role, this opportunity allows you to contribute directly to a dynamic product environment with evolving requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop user interface components and front-end features for a web-based application
  • Utilize frameworks such as WiseJ, JavaScript, Blazor, or similar modern technologies to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code using C# and .NET technologies
  • Execute hands-on engineering tasks from start to finish without direct leadership responsibilities
  • Adapt to rapid changes and evolving requirements typical of an early-stage product environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the application meets functional and design specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain application performance
  • Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to front-end development tasks
  • Contribute insights on architectural decisions to enhance overall project quality

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript or Blazor
  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks
  • Ability to quickly learn and work with WiseJ, even without prior experience
  • Proven adaptability in dynamic and fast-paced environments

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with React.js is a plus
  • Experience working in startup environments is preferred
  • Basic understanding of software architecture is advantageous
