Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production ready. This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop software and systems from vision to production ready
  • Use passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements
  • Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
  • Make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Requirements:

  • Experience developing in C++
  • Experience developing in Java
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience writing Python scripts and basic data processing with Python
  • Experience performing software version control
  • Experience designing and implementing test harnesses for both live and regression testing
  • Experience testing software functionality, including capability and GUI testing
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field and 7+ years of experience with software engineering, or 11+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing or maintaining applications using PHP and JavaScript
  • Experience with testing techniques and JUnit or CppUnit
  • Experience with development for WordPress or Moodle
  • Experience with containers
