Job Description:

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join the Xbox PC Experiences engineering team in Costa Rica. This role focuses on building and maintaining modern web based user interfaces using React and related web technologies. The engineer will work closely with designers and partner teams to deliver high quality, user facing features. This is a hands on individual contributor role with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and maintain userfacing features using React and modern web technologies
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners including design and product to deliver highquality experiences
  • Write clean, maintainable, and welltested code
  • Debug and resolve issues across the frontend codebase
  • Contribute to team discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • Fluency to read, write and speak in English
  • Experience with JavaScript and modern web development practices
  • Experience building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build systems
  • Interest in building consumer facing applications at scale
