Job Description

Ramp is looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team with a dedicated focus on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems. In this role, you will act as both a technical owner and multiplier: working on core stablecoin services, ensuring secure and reliable integrations with external partners, and guiding Ramp’s evolution toward next-generation fintech solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Help build & scale Ramp’s stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure
  • Partner with external providers and internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product flows
  • Solve Ramp’s toughest fintech challenges with new technologies
  • Collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems preferred
  • Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure
  • Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
  • Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)

Nice to have

  • Intuition for on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet-based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain-level tradeoffs like fees and latency.
  • Direct experience building on-chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows
  • Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale
  • Familiarity with cross-border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems
  • Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government-compliant infrastructure)
