Job Description

We're responsible for prototyping and developing new technologies and novel solutions to issues within the division. We work closely with analysts to understand their workflows, identify gaps, and create solutions that make things easier and more effective. We work on a variety of constantly changing applications and services that support a wide array of missions. Things are always dynamic and fast paced. In the past year alone, we have built tools that: Ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of information for a critical Presidential-level effort, Provide direct support to forces protecting Americans directly in harms way, Organize, process, and visualize a source of information for critical intelligence, including preventing loss-of-life, Identify and track critical assets using geospatial tools and analytics, and Apply AI/ML algorithms to real-world problems. We have a great relationship with our Government customers. They look to us for advice and recommendations. They give us the freedom to choose the right tools to address each challenge we face. Each of our efforts have different constraints, both operationally and technologically. We use a variety of frameworks, libraries, and languages to tailor our solutions to the problems at hand. These include: TypeScript and JavaScript, React, Angular, Material UI, Bootstrap, Storybook, Java, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, MySQL, npm, Webpack, Maven, Jest, JUnit, and Git. We're always constantly learning and applying new tools, so expect things to change. We don't expect everyone to know everything, but we do expect everyone on the team to learn and grow.
