Job Description

Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. As a Full-Stack, Backend engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to deeply understand their needs and workflows, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and own the end-to-end implementation of new features. Openings exist on the Omni Team (bringing AI to end users), the Monetization Team (driving engagement and revenue), and the Field Agents Team (layering AI into core primitives).

Job Responsibility

  • Spec and build product features that are beautiful, consistent, and fast
  • Work at all levels of the stack, from AWS, Node.js, and SQL to React, HTML, and CSS, with a primary focus on backend development
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs
  • Work alongside and learn from a talented group of engineers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience with modern full-stack web development, with particular emphasis on backend feature development
  • Fluent in one or more backend technologies
  • Interest in programming in JavaScript and React
  • Good understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
  • Background in computer science or a related field
  • Currently based and/or will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or work remotely in Seattle
