Job Description:

Airtable is a no-code app platform. This role involves working on the product backend, specifically on the Monetization Team, to drive user engagement and revenue across core surfaces like sharing, pricing, and payments. The engineer will build user-facing features, run experiments, and maintain billing systems.

Job Responsibility:

Design and build systems to increase scalability and performance of applications
Work at the deep backend of the software stack
Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs
Own and execute end-to-end implementation of new features

Requirements:

8+ years of industry experience with modern systems development
Background in computer science or a related field
Good understanding of modern web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
Interest in programming in TypeScript and Rust
Excited by a product-oriented backend role
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or the greater Seattle area

Nice to have:

Experience with database internals development
Experience with AI to personalize user journeys
