Job Description:

As a member of the Avaloq development team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for a central part of the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will design, implement, maintain and test innovative software solutions to meet the client's needs. You will be working as a Mid or Senior Level Developer in an environment where formal and on-the-job training is a priority, and you will learn a lot. The Avaloq Banking Suite is one of the largest PL/SQL applications in the world. It is safe to say that your co-workers are among, if not the most knowledgeable Oracle specialists in the world. Development takes place in our integrated development environment - a customized Eclipse platform, which is tightly integrated with a build automation and delivery system, allowing a standardized and automated process to be followed.

Job Responsibility:

Analyse, design, develop and implement complex software systems for the credit module
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns
Optimize existing software systems for improved performance and scalability
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in financial software development
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards in all software solutions
Develop code with proprietary language AvaloqScript

Requirements:

Strong evidence of track record of software engineering ideally financial services or credit-related software development
Experience of financial software development and banking processes
Strong understanding of database systems and SQL
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to maintain multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Master's degree preferred
Comprehensive understanding of credit processes, products, and regulations
Avaloq Certification or Avaloq Knowledge
