Job Description

Cogniter Technologies is seeking an experienced and driven Software Engineer (.NET) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise across the full software development lifecycle and demonstrate the ability to design, build, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to convert business requirements into efficient technical solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust .NET-based applications with end-to-end ownership
  • Work extensively with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and other Microsoft technologies
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality best practices
  • Manage multiple assignments effectively to deliver projects within defined timelines
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements to propose optimal and scalable solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and performance issues
  • Communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in .NET development with exposure to the complete project lifecycle
  • Strong expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
