Job Description

As a Software Engineer in our Logistics Engineering team, you will develop logistics systems to support the delivery of millions of items to our customers. You would be a part of our teams that develop systems that, for example, do stock distribution across warehouses, handle receive distribution and storage of goods and returns, develop algorithms to optimize the utilization of automation and staff, or create processes to ship goods to our customers while reducing errors and improving the performance of logistics centers.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and test features which are deployed to production and create value for customer
  • Improve the team's developer experience by automating repetitive tasks or improving test coverage
  • Extend existing software components by implementing small features and bug fixes for existing functionality

Requirements

  • Proven track record of software engineering experience in JVM-based languages like Java or Kotlin
  • Some experience with Typescript or Javascript
  • Understanding of business value for the customers or teams
  • Focus on learning good practices, software design, and engineering methodology fundamentals
  • Ability to understand the real-time behavior of functionality written and deployed to production
  • Clear explanation of thinking process and solutions in team discussions
  • Ability to apply structured ways to decompose and solve simple problems

  • Knowledge of the Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of KTOR
  • Knowledge of React frameworks
