Software Engineer II

Come build the platform that powers Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. In Partner Center & Marketplace—a core part of Microsoft’s Commerce + Ecosystems division—you’ll help deliver the foundational services and experiences that enable partners to build, publish, sell, and grow with Microsoft—and help customers discover and deploy 1P/3P solutions. You’ll leverage GitHub Copilot, and the latest generative AI models as you work across APIs, big data, services, and user experiences that operate at global scale—making it simpler, more secure, and more intelligent for partners and sellers to do business with Microsoft. This position will be in the Partner Foundations Engineering team responsible for building the platform and infrastructure services that power the PartnerPortal (partner.microsoft.com), Partner AI Assistant, Partner Security and Partner Enrollment. This is a very visible role with high impact where all the components you build will be used by our entire ecosystem of internal and external stakeholders. As a Software Engineer in this team, you will have the opportunity to explore and innovate using cutting-edge technologies like Azure, OpenAI & LLMs, Data & ML and drive business processes and contribute to strategy and broader vision. You will be working on services that are built from the ground up and influence the design and architecture of our services. Success in this role means you will take ownership of feature areas, drive innovation with the latest AI technologies—including Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Studio, and GitHub Copilot—and deliver solutions that scale.
