Software Engineer II

The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture. As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of Power BI Desktop and Service by designing and implementing scalable testing strategies, automation frameworks, and engineering systems. You will work on integrating AI and GenAI technologies into test automation and development workflows, helping improve engineering efficiency and compliance. You’ll collaborate across disciplines and geographies to align on engineering goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines. This role emphasizes hands-on development, secure design practices, and metric-driven execution to support high-quality weekly releases for Power BI Service and monthly releases for Power BI Desktop.
