Job Description:

Would you like to work on a fast and agile team at the center of Microsoft Azure and make an impact on core cloud services every day? The role offers the opportunity to contribute to foundational technology that supports customers and engineers across the platform. The Artificial Intelligence for Operations (AIOps) Business Resilience and Intelligence (BRAIN) team within Azure Core focuses on making Azure the world’s most reliable cloud platform. The team develops automation and intelligence capabilities to improve Azure reliability by solving large‑scale cloud health challenges and creating services that use artificial intelligence, large language models, autonomous agents, and automation to detect, mitigate, and prevent service issues.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement and deliver features & quality improvements to improve the Brain experience for all Azure services.
Work with partner teams to design, implement, integrate pipelines to enable end to end workflows.
Contribute to debugging, troubleshooting complete stack of a service, and drive analysis of cloud health problems
write software and build automation to resolve problems permanently.
Review ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems
assess design and code changes to drive improvements.
Participate actively in code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice to have:

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
1+ years of software development experience demonstrating feature development in cloud services.
