Software Engineer II

Azure Core is the engine of Microsoft’s Cloud, powering infrastructure that is the foundation for cloud computing. Within Azure Core, the Compute Platform Team builds the control plane and lifecycle management of key resources including Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, Images, and Serverless containers. The usage of the compute resources is growing at a tremendous rate as more customers adopt and scale on cloud. As a Software Engineer IC3 on the Compute Platform team, you will develop services and components that are responsible for managing 10s of millions of Linux and Windows virtual machines with billions of transactions every day. This role will focus on scalability and privacy/security of high valued transactions initially focused on financial markets. You will learn and operate in a fast-paced, supportive environment collaborating with highly skilled engineers, leads, and executives.
