Job Description:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Junior Back-End engineer to be part of our IT Management Product Group. In this role, you will be part of the cloud engineering team, work on building, deploying and monitoring the heart of the Falcon For IT module, working closely with other teams such as UI and Sensor. You will take part and grow your skills in designing and implementing a large scale, highly performant microservice architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Join the Falcon For IT team that delivers a unified endpoint management module to help customers manage their infrastructure, apps and endpoints
  • Work with an experienced team of the best cyber-security developers
  • Take part in development of scalable and efficient microservice architecture
  • Understand end-to-end requirements, develop and maintain software with quality and performance in mind
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and various stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies
  • Build up your knowledge and grow your confidence in software engineering processes and quality practices
  • Thrive in hands-on coding environment, by crafting solutions with the big picture in mind
  • Learn to lean on the wider team to navigate and manage ambiguity while delivering innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience building backend modules of distributed systems
  • Strong programming skills in Golang (or similar like Java, C# or Python)
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Experience in building cloud-based solutions preferably at scale
  • Ability to work well with a group of engineers in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
