We’re looking for an experienced frontend engineer who obsesses over quality, system design, and developer experience, and who’s excited to raise the frontend bar across the company. This role has a broad, visible impact. You’ll shape frontend architecture, improve reliability at scale, accelerate development through best-in-class tooling and AI workflows, and mentor engineers to level up frontend excellence across Clay.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling complex frontend applications
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and reliability

  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence best practices across teams
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with design, product, and other engineering teams
  • Pragmatic mindset: you balance long-term architectural thinking with shipping real value
  • You’re familiar with our current tech stack or can learn unfamiliar technologies quickly
