Job Description

We’re looking for experienced Front End Engineers who are excited to define the future of work with a focus on human value. You will build the UI/UX patterns in which AI is deployed and used by the world’s most important institutions. As a member of our FE engineering team, your day to day will vary from writing code, collaborating with product and design on defining our products, and building core engineering infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Building Enterprise Grade Frontend Applications: collaborate closely with the rest of our team to deliver high quality frontend applications
  • Solution Design: Collaborate closely Distyl AI Strategists to deeply understand customer’s workflows and design tailored AI solutions
  • End-to-End Software Ownership: Take charge of the entire software lifecycle, from service development to deploying them in customer cloud environments

Requirements

  • 4+ years of fulltime software engineering experience
  • Experience building production systems at scale (enterprise/B2B applications or customer-facing, high-volume pages)
  • Track record of technical ownership (led features/projects end-to-end, drove technical decisions)
  • Expert in React/TypeScript
  • Some backend experience in Python is beneficial and experience with AI/ML is helpful
  • User Empathy and Customer Focus: A deep sense of user empathy and a customer-obsessed approach
  • An Eye for Design: being able to make a reasonable design choice within the design system is key
  • Software Architecture: Demonstrated ability in architecting frontend applications for better scalability is critical
  • Ability to travel 10-20%

Nice to have

  • Product Experience: B2B/enterprise products, client-facing work, startup experience
  • FE Infrastructure: CI/CD, Webpack/Vite, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure), observability tools
