The Dynamics 365 Business Central team within Microsoft is dedicated to revolutionizing business operations with a suite of comprehensive agentic business solutions. As Software Engineer within the Dynamics 365 Business Central team, you are actively involved in developing and maintaining highly scalable world class business solutions that incorporate the latest generative AI innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, code, test and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance AI/Model-first features for our business solutions using C#, .NET, Azure and modern AI technologies
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, AI researchers and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into well-architected solutions
  • Actively participate in the team’s agile processes, contributing to planning and design sessions and sprint retrospectives
  • Enhance system quality by conducting code reviews, developing test automation Evals to ensure features are accurate, reliable and maintainable
  • Contribute to the health of our live services by monitoring performance and online evals metrics, investigating and resolving production issues, and participating in an on-call rotation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Professional experience in full-stack software development, with a proven track record of shipping commercial software
  • 1+years hands on experience building production ready applications a modern programming language such as C#, TypeScript, Python or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical topics and discuss requirements with stakeholders
  • High level understanding of AI Language Models, prompt engineering, and Agentic workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Nice to have:

  • Experience building and deploying scalable applications using modern AI technologies
  • Proficient with relational databases, SQL and data modeling
  • Previous experience working with complex, data-intensive business applications
