Job Description:

A growing technology business is developing a new internal software platform used by their engineering teams to design, simulate and optimise complex industrial systems. They are now looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale this platform, working closely with mechanical and aerothermal specialists.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing and maintaining software modules in C++/C# and Python
  • Integrating internal tools and commercial simulation packages
  • Automating engineering workflows and supporting cloud-based computation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to solve technical challenges

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering, science, or computer science (2:1 or above)
  • Strong experience with C++ or C#, plus Python
  • Good understanding of software design principles
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage your own workload and deliver projects independently

Nice to have:

  • Full-stack development (e.g., Vue3, Typescript, Django)
  • Cloud deployments (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS)
  • Machine learning or agentic AI pipelines
  • Basic understanding of FEA/CFD or engineering simulation workflows
