Comfort with Linux/Unix operating systems
Front end web development experience, preferably in JavaScript / TypeScript
Java and/or C++ experience
Experience creating service APIs with HTTP and/or WebSockets

Job Responsibility

Full stack contribution to a mission management tool
Work as part of a small Agile subteam within a larger team of engineers building remarkable surveillance augmentation software
Maintain newer UI components written in React and TypeScript
Maintain older UI components in Java and C++
Work on back end processing and business logic in a mixture of Java, C++ and Rust
Work in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies with frequent customer feedback
Move between different languages and parts of the stack to reach creative and effective solutions
Opportunities for travel and direct interaction with operators on military aircraft and ground stations

3+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems
Familiar with the ARP-4754A aircraft systems lifecycle
Familiar with DOORS for requirements capture and tracing
Familiar with ClearCase version control and configuration management system
Familiar with ClearQuest for creating and tracking change requests
Familiar with MATLAB/Simulink for performing simulations
Effective written and verbal communication skills
