Part of a team within the Industry Solutions Delivery organization, chartered to improve delivery agility, reliability, security, & productivity through a holistic DevOps and Knowledge Management enablement ecosystem for teams to consistently plan, build, and deliver customer engagements and internal projects, resulting in better customer and employee experiences. The position is for an Engineer in the DevOps and Knowledge Management (KM) function within QMT. The function’s mission is to accelerate customer value through AI-first DevOps and knowledge management, empowering purposeful delivery at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Design and development of DevOps solutions in the form of products, tools and services
Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement products and services
Define and adhere to quality criteria for tools, products and services
Lead and continuously improve, enhance, and adopt/build newer features/services/practices
Drive continuous improvement of supported products, tools, and services
Implement and adhere to recommended engineering practices
Lead/participate in delivery of DevOps solutions through envisioning, design, implementation & operation
Keep up to date in understanding and applying industry trends, engineering practices, tools, and solutions
Actively collaborate with Stakeholders and Internal Business units
Manage and improve engineering process, manage risks, dependencies, and compromises
Consistently contribute key ideas to product or service design and vision
Develop elegant designs and tests
Prepare and participate in design reviews

Requirements:
7+ years experience in Engineering – Development and Operations
Experience on platforms and toolchains enabling DevOps including OSS
Experience on Open Source and InnerSource culture and framework
Deep technical experience on Azure DevOps, GitHub
Deep technical experience in one or more of the following technologies: .Net, SQL, Python, Azure CLI/PowerShell, YAML. Node.js, React (front-end)
Hands-on experience in Azure Services and Cloud-based technologies
Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic frameworks
Proven record of working with large vendor teams and outsourced partners
Ability to understand and analyze issues independently and use judgment to make decisions
Ability to read, interpret and/or develop technical specifications, diagrams, and infrastructure blueprint
Demonstrated knowledge of data
Proven experience in using a product/service regularly
Proven competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology
Strong troubleshooting skills on DevOps solutions
Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodologies
Experience on ITSM (Service and Incident Management)
Experience in effective global communication skills, impact, and influence across a diverse set of stakeholders
Understanding of ISO requirements and documentations preferred
Achieve (AZ-204 or AZ-400) and AI-900 certifications in 3 months
