The Azure Core Trusted Platform team safeguards Microsoft’s foundational cloud infrastructure by ensuring that our engineering systems, services, and workflows meet the highest bars for security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Microsoft runs on trust, and we build the platform‑level capabilities that make safe‑by‑default, compliant engineering possible across Azure—embedding transparency, traceability, and automated safeguards directly into how engineers build and operate services. Our work increasingly leverages AI through agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and privacy‑aware generation and validation to solve traditionally complex compliance and safety challenges in scalable, creative ways. As a Software Engineer II on the team, you’ll work deeply in distributed systems, reliability, debugging, secure coding, cloud security, automation, and CI/CD—applying strong engineering fundamentals to build resilient, compliant platform components used across Microsoft.
