Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings. Azure PostgreSQL is a fast-growing team within Azure Data at Microsoft, and we are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our organization. The team builds and operates a globally distributed, fully managed PostgreSQL service that supports mission-critical customer workloads at scale. We focus on delivering highly reliable, high-performance, and self-healing cloud systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy developing scalable services, tackling complex technical problems, and driving meaningful impact while continuing to grow their technical expertise.
