Job Description:

The team is responsible for enabling Bing feature teams to make decisions over A/B experiments efficiently and correctly, supporting experiment triage, tooling and dashboards, and experimentation / flight review workflows at scale. We build and maintain platforms that surface experiment health, metrics, and insights, helping teams make informed shipping decisions and move faster with confidence.

Job Responsibility:

  • You will help Bing feature teams turn experiment results into fast, confident shipping decisions
  • You will work on Catapult, Bing’s experimentation and triage platform, to improve how teams analyze completed A/B experiments and understand metric movements at scale
  • Your focus will be on aggregating experiment outcomes, highlighting key gains and regressions across metrics, and enabling clear, timely flight reviews
  • By improving post‑experiment analysis and decision workflows, you will help teams reduce the time from experiment completion to ship decision, while supporting data‑driven trade‑off discussions and informed product decisions

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • Solid experience in full‑stack development, including frontend user interfaces and backend services
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including system design, debugging, and code quality
  • Experience building or maintaining web‑based tools, platforms, or dashboards
  • Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global partners
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across engineering, PM, and data science teams
  • Growth mindset with a passion for learning, iterating, and improving user and developer experiences
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Nice to have:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
