Job Description:

Join our team as a Software Engineer – Workflows, contributing to the development and maintenance of science data processing pipeline solutions. This role suits an expert Python programmer with experience in scientific workflows and high-performance computing (HPC), who thrives in collaborative, purpose-driven environments.

Job Responsibility:

Analysing, designing, and implementing robust workflows for HPC data reduction pipelines
Optimising and monitoring performance of data workflows, applying continuous improvement practices
Collaborating with development, QA, science, and operations teams to support a DevOps culture
Troubleshooting complex technical issues and contributing to best-practice testing in HPC environments
Maintaining clear documentation for workflows, processes, and training

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree relevant to software engineering/computer science, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in Python
Experience deploying and operating applications in Linux environments
