Software Engineer - Skapa

• Being responsible for the development, quality assurance and maintenance of high-quality code in JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Vue 3 and Web Components) for our NPM packages
• Working in agile teams across the capability areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutions
• Creating inclusive products with an accessibility first approach
• Applying and adhering to best practices in software engineering (e.g. DRY principles, TDD, continuous integration, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews) within an agile/iterative development approach
• Providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within and outside the team encouraging best practices
• Working closely together with other software engineers and cross functions to produce all required specifications and ensure that digital solutions work together and fulfil business needs

• Minimum 7-10 years of software development experience
• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on working with web development
• Proven ability to deliver high quality code using best practices
• You have a curious nature and actively acquire new knowledge, skills, champion new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance
• You have the ability to adopt and change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies
• You are excited to work in an empowered agile team that does continuous improvements and you like to contribute to the software engineering function
• You also enjoy close collaborative work and are excited by opportunities to teach and learn

Any experience developing inclusive design system is a plus but not a must have
