Job Description:

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining routing and switching software for product lines. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the complete life cycle of product development.

Job Responsibility:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products
Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design
Work with product management and other cross functional teams to develop detailed software functional specification, articulate system/software architecture specifications, for product features to meet product requirements
Carry out detailed design and implementation, unit testing, integration of protocols, and other related software components for products and features

Requirements:

7-10 years of experience as a Software Developer in Layer2/Layer3 networking or related systems area
Strong in C/C++ programming, data structures, algorithms, Linux/FreeBSD OS concepts
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Experience in implementing one or more routing protocols like OSPF, IS-IS, BGP or MPLS signalling protocols like RSVP, LDP or multicast routing protocols like PIM, IGMP
Familiarity with L2 switching, EVPN, VXLAN, VPLS, L2VPN is preferred
Proactive mindset and strong willingness to learn and adopt new software development tools and technologies
BS/MS in Computer Science or similar discipline
