Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to participate in technology domain initiatives, identify service quality improvements, design and code projects, review technical assignments, and provide information to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with security requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
  • Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
  • Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
  • Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
  • Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
  • Perform and document control activities related to infrastructure governance
  • Automate control execution and evidence collection using Python and reporting platforms
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reports to support governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Ensure controls are executed in accordance with enterprise risk and compliance frameworks
  • Track control effectiveness and remediation actions using governance tools
  • Collaborate with control owners and stakeholders to improve control design and operational efficiency
  • Integrate AI/ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent alerting in infrastructure governance
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely data delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and AI-driven insights

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Power BI: Advanced DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to build low-code/no-code solutions for governance workflows
  • Utilize Microsoft Fabric for unified data engineering, analytics, and real-time reporting across governance platforms
  • SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries and working with relational databases
  • AI/ML: Experience with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch for building and deploying models
  • Python: Strong scripting skills for data processing, automation, and integration
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP for deploying data and AI solutions
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub for code management and collaboration
  • Infrastructure Governance Tools: Exposure to platforms like ServiceNow
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Understanding of automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) for text-based risk analysis
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and JIRA for project tracking
