Job Description:

We are looking for a software engineer to join the team developing the simulation process and data management functionality in COMSOL Multiphysics®. The majority of the coding is done in Java, with some in C#, SQL, and TypeScript.

Job Responsibility:

Writing and reviewing code
Contributing to project specifications and design
Testing new functionality
Developing the simulation process and data management functionality in COMSOL Multiphysics®
Working on the Model Manager — a process and data management system for simulation modeling

Requirements:

M.Sc. or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics
Excellent university grades
Proficiency in object-oriented programming

Nice to have:

Some experience with software projects
Knowledge of general software engineering and computer science principles
Interest in physics or simulation
