Job Description:

Software Engineer role focused on building IKEA's fulfillment network solution using event-driven cloud architecture. The position involves working on globally scalable systems that serve over 4 billion customers globally and support 170,000+ co-workers, with a focus on e-commerce delivery and collection services.

Job Responsibility:

Building globally scalable, automatically tested, and reliable systems
Collaborating with others and reaching consensus
Managing backlog and prioritizing value delivery
Building fulfillment network solution using event-driven cloud architecture
Supporting agile team collaboration and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

At least 4 years of professional experience as a developer
Cloud experience with preference for GCP
Experience with Alibaba Cloud is valued
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies
Experience with Go and/or Java programming languages
Familiarity with Spring Boot microservices and API management
Experience with event-driven architecture using tools like Kafka, Pub/Sub
Knowledge of modern, fully automated development and deployment processes
Strong understanding of design patterns and high technical aptitude
Experience with NoSQL and relational database technologies
Expertise in logging, alerting, tracing, and debugging in cloud environments
Strong understanding of security concepts in cloud environments
