Software Distribution Engineer

• Ensure compliance with defined release processes and gate criteria
• Intake and validation of released software components
• Verification of completeness, structure, versioning, and service readiness
• Publish and distribute software to the global service organization
• Coordinate rollout communication including release notes and known limitations
• Ensure traceable versioning and availability
• Represent service deployment requirements towards R&D
• Translate service needs into deployment and packaging requirements
• Escalate deviations from defined processes
• Maintain software versions and dependencies for C-, M-, and X-Segments
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Perform regular quality checks
• User and access rights management
• Publication of software components
• Metadata maintenance and optimization
• Creation of standard and custom reports according to stakeholder or customer requirements
• Ensure compliance with software deployment guidelines

• Software Lifecycle Management (Release, Distribution, Deployment)
• Understanding of software architectures and dependencies (preferably automotive/embedded environments)
• Experience with release and change management processes (ITIL)
• Data management and data quality assurance in ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with KPI Implementation and ongoing maintenance
• Software versioning, configuration and dependency management
• Experience with software distribution platforms or download portals
• Basic understanding of access and rights management concepts
• Reporting and data analysis (standard and custom reports)
• Documentation standards and compliance requirements
• Fluent English
• German language skills are an advantage
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
