Job Description:

The Software Development Specialist role at NTT DATA requires 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles. Candidates should have strong expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, along with hands-on experience in scripting (Bash, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS). This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE roles
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and release workflows
  • Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows (branches, PRs, webhooks)
  • Strong hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and environment management
  • Hands-on experience in implementing DevSecOps practices (security scanning, secrets management)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
