Job Description:

The Software Development Specialist Advisor role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in AWS and AI development. The candidate will lead the design and deployment of scalable AI solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud architecture. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is essential, along with strong technical leadership and communication skills. Relevant AWS certifications are preferred. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS & AI Engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native architectures and hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI system development. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered solutions on the AWS platform. This role requires strong architectural skills, hands-on coding capabilities, and the ability to design intelligent, autonomous, and agent-based systems leveraging modern LLMs, foundation models, and cloud-native services. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive AI innovation and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions on AWS
Architect microservices-based and event-driven systems using AWS managed services
Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK
Define and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, VPC, KMS, encryption, compliance)
Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost (FinOps practices)
Design and develop AI-powered systems using LLMs and foundation models
Build and deploy Agentic AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, tool usage, and autonomous decision-making
Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
Develop multi-agent systems with orchestration frameworks
Integrate vector databases for semantic search and contextual memory
Fine-tune or adapt foundation models where required
Implement guardrails, safety, and observability mechanisms for AI systems
Write production-grade, scalable, and maintainable code
Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Ensure CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices
Drive DevSecOps practices in AI and cloud deployments
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Perform the role of Project Lead proficient in doing end to end Agentic AI Automation and workflow application for Healthcare and BFSI domain
Provide adequate technical documents and guide team members for completing the task / projects
Handle multiple teams and projects

Requirements:

Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant development
3+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience
2+ years of experience in Generative AI / LLM-based solution development
Proven experience building production-grade AI systems
Strong experience with LLM-based application development
Hands-on experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
Hands-on experience with OpenAI / Anthropic / Bedrock / other foundation models
Experience building RAG pipelines
Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, OpenSearch, Aurora PostgreSQL pgvector)
Prompt engineering and evaluation techniques
Experience in developing multi-agent or autonomous AI systems
Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
Experience in building REST APIs (FastAPI / Flask)
Microservices architecture
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines
Unit testing & integration testing practices
Experience with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker
Undergraduate or Graduate degree
Relevant AWS certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty (preferred))

Nice to have:

Knowledge of model fine-tuning, LoRA, PEFT techniques
Experience with Knowledge Graphs
Event-driven architecture (Kafka / SNS / SQS)
Experience with MLOps pipelines
Kubernetes administration experience
